Mona beat Papine

Mona High carved out a 2-nil victory over Papine in a bottom-of-the-table clash in the Jamaica Hockey Federation/Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Under-19 boys’ competition earlier this afternoon.
The lone game was played at the Mona Hockey turf.
Johnardo Edwards and O’Brian Hayden scored for Mona High.
The victory gives Mona their first points of the championships. They have now moved to three points in Zone ‘B’, while Papine remain on zero.
Jamaica College and Wolmer’s Boys are joint leaders in the Group with nine points each.
The competition continues tomorrow with five games.
