The St James Football Association has received a sponsorship deal worth $12 million over four years from telecommunication company Claro to sponsor its senior and division leagues.

The deal represents the biggest-ever sponsorship agreement signed by a parish association.

The sponsorship deal was announced at a Press Conference at the offices of the Jamaica Football Federation earlier this afternoon.

George Evans, president of the St James Football Association, is expecting a long partnership with Claro.

The St James Football Association’s season will kick off on Saturday with a double-header at Jarrett Park.
