Under 19 Hockey competition continues today

Defending girls’ champions Papine will face Alpha Academy as the Jamaica Hockey Federation/Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Under-19 competition continues this afternoon at the Mona Hockey turf.



The game is scheduled to start at 3 o’clock and is the third of four matches at the venue.



The unbeaten Papine are leading the points’ table with 11, six ahead of St Andrew High, Excelsior and Alpha Academy.



Also in the girls’ competition, Campion College and Excelsior will face off at 2 o’clock while St Andrew will tackle Wolmer’s at 4:30.



In the boys’ competition, Group ‘B’ leaders Jamaica College will play third place St Andrew Technical High School at 1 o’clock.



Meanwhile, Mona High carved out a 2-nil victory over Papine in a bottom-of-the-table clash yesterday.



The victory gives Mona their first points of the championships. They have now moved to three points in Zone ‘B’, while Papine remain on zero.
