St Andrew defeat Immaculate

St Andrew High defeated Immaculate 1-0 at the Mona Hockey turf yesterday to finish two points behind leaders Papine following the completion of the preliminary round of the Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 girls’ competition.



St Andrew High will now face third-place Excelsior in semi-final two on Friday.



The opening semi-final features defending champions Papine against fourth place Alpha Academy, who battled to a goalless draw with fifth place Wolmer’s Girls in the day’s other game yesterday.



Meanwhile, the semi-finals of the boys’ competition will take place this afternoon at the Mona Hockey turf.



The opening semi-final will feature defending champions Munro College against Wolmer’s Boy at 3.15 p.m., while at 4.30 p.m. Jamaica College will play Tivoli Gardens in the second semi-final.
