Haitain president meets Obama

Haitian President Rene Preval is now meeting with the US president Barack Obama to discuss ongoing relief and reconstruction efforts for the country that was destroyed by the January 12 earthquake.



Mr. Preval is seeking billions of dollars to help rebuild Port-au-Prince.



Yesterday, he said food aid donated after the quake is now in danger of undermining the country\'s economy.



Today’s talks come ahead of an international donor\'s conference in New York on March 31.
