Skerrit warns opposition

Dominica\'s Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, is warning opposition parliamentarians that he’s prepared to call by-elections if they continue to miss sittings of parliament.

The opposition has been boycotting sittings of the House of Assembly to protest what it says are irregularities in last December\'s general election.

Instead opposition members have been staging what they call the people\'s parliament - the latest of which was held last night.

But Prime Minister Skerrit is warning that he will call by-elections if the opposition members of parliament miss three consecutive sittings.
