Swallowfield defeat Shortwood

Swallowfield blanked Shortwood 2-0 yesterday to hold on to their perfect record in Zone ‘A’ of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association/Claro Under-17 league.
Ricardo Russell with a 50th minute strike and Najee Cameroon in the 82nd minute provided the goals for Shortwood, who now moved to nine points from three games.
Shortwood are two points ahead of second place Rae Town, who battled to a goalless draw with fourth place Rockfort.
In the other games yesterday, Barbican defeated Central Kingston 2-0 to move to third place, while sixth place New Kingston carved out a 2-0 victory over last place Bull Bay.
