Jamaicans in action at World Indoors Championships

The three-day IAAF World Indoor Championships is now underway in Doha, Qatar with several Jamaicans down to take part.



The Jamaicans are headed by two-time Olympic 200 metres champion Veronica Campbell-Brown who is competing at the World Indoors for the first time.



Campbell-Brown and Sheri-Ann Brooks are down for the women’s 60 metre heats scheduled for 10.25 a.m. Jamaica time.



The heats of the men’s 60-metre dash, which features two Jamaicans in Nesta Carter and Lerone Clarke, will start at 7.30 a.m.



Dwight Thomas and Maurice Wignall are down to contest the heats of the men’s 60-metre hurdles at 9.50 a.m.



The semi-finals of the men and women’s 400 metres will be the final two events on today’s opening day.
