St Jago retain boys’ title at Central Champs

St Jago High have retained their boys’ title at the Milo Central Championships, now taking place at GC Foster College in Spanish Town.



At Sports Time, the Spanish Town-based school has opened up an unassailable lead after 18 finals on today’s final day of the two-day meet.



St Jago High have so far tallied 216.5 points, 116.5 points ahead of second place Holmwood Technical on 100.



Edwin Allen 87.5, Manchester High 48 and Old Harbour High 31 complete the top five. Newcomers Hydel hold down sixth place with 27 points.



Meanwhile, there is a three-way battle among champions Holmwood Technical, Edwin Allen and St Jago for the girls’ title.



After 25 finals, Holmwood were 235 points, three ahead of Edwin Allen on 232 and seven more than St Jago on 228.



Vere Technical 133 and Manchester High 130.5 points complete the top five.
