Excelsior capture third place

Excelsior High blanked Alpha Academy 2-0 yesterday at the Mona Hockey turf to capture third place in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 girls’ competition.



Krystal Barrett scored both goals for Excelsior.



The boys’ third place playoff, between Wolmer’s and Tivoli Gardens, will now take place tomorrow afternoon, starting at 1 o’clock.



The competition will end on that day with the boys’ and girls’ finals.



Defending champions Papine and St Andrew will clash for the girls’ title at 3 p.m., followed by the boys’ final between champions Munro College and Jamaica College at 4:30.
