More rainfall in St. Kitts

Despite severe drought conditions affecting the region the authorities in St Kitts and Nevis say Basseterre has recorded more rainfall this year compared with the similar period in 2009.
Figures from the Meteorological Office show that 7.76 inches of rain was recorded between January and March 15.
This compares with 5.4 inches for the first three months of 2009.
