Cassanova Boy wins Zaleucus Trophy

CASSANOVA BOY with champion jockey Omar Walker made it six-from-six at Caymanas Park today by winning the open allowance feature for the Zaleucus Trophy over 1800 metres.
The four-year-old gray gelding, a howling favourite, won by four-and-three-quarter lengths from HOMBRE with Dane Nelson. Another three lengths behind was THE BOMBER in third, while GO MY ROBIN finished fourth.
Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta saddled the winner.
Walker, who leads the jockeys’ standing, also won aboard THE KING AND I from the camp of DaCosta.
Meanwhile, CASH PAT with jockey Rudolph Paige won the Long Shot Trophy over 1300 metres.
