Munro, Papine retain title

Munro College and Papine High have retained their Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 titles with 1-0 victories yesterday at the Mona Hockey turf.



Shea Chambers scored in the 35th minute to lead Munro College to victory over Jamaica College in the boys’ final.



In the girls’ final, Papine High edged St Andrew courtesy of a 28th minute strike from Tashauna Edwards.



Meanwhile, Wolmer’s were awarded third place in the boys’ competition, as Tivoli failed to show yesterday.



The girls’ third place went to Excelsior, who defeated Alpha Academy 2-0 on Wednesday.



The Under-16 tournament will begin on April 28.
