Innswood secures first innings

Innswood High have secured the crucial first innings points from reigning champions Eltham High on today’s second day of the three-day Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Grace Shield final at Melbourne Oval.



Eltham High, who resumed this morning on 116 for six, were dismissed for 124 chasing Innswood High’s first innings total of 198.



Batting a second time, Innswood were 55 without loss for an overall lead of 129 with 10 wickets in hand.



Eltham, who defeated Innswood in last year’s final, are searching for their sixth straight title.
