Innswood take charge of Grace Shield

Defending champions Eltham High, chasing a victory target of 397, were struggling on 89 for five at Sports Time on today’s final day of the three-day ISSA/Grace Shield final against Innswood High at Melbourne Oval.



Captain Keino Paul-Sailsman eight and Osani Ricketts on zero are the batsmen at the crease



Vice captain Joseph Dennie has so far top scored for Eltham with 27, while Andre wittingham had 21.



Mical Powell has taken two of the five wickets to fall after Eltham resumed this morning on four for one.



Innswood High bagged the crucial first innings points on yesterday’s second day after bowling out Eltham High for 124. Innswood had posted 198 in their first innings.



Scores in the match so far, Innswood High 198 and 322, Eltham High 124 and 89 for five.



Eltham High have won the competition for the last five years.
