St James Division football continues
Tomorrows People recorded a 3-1 victory over Abes Academy at the UDC field in Montego Bay as Round One of the St James Football Association/Claro Division One competition continued yesterday.
Donavon Carvey gave Abes Academy the lead after 27th minute and Jermaine Cooper leveled the scores with a 40th minute penalty. Asaun Morris 43rd minute and Balvin Brissith 74th minute scored the other goals for Tomorrows People.
In other games, Fogo edged Melbourne 2-1 at Albion, Revelation blanked Salt Spring Roses at Tucker, Barrett Town defeated Salt Spring United at Wyndham and Mount Salem and Mountain Villa played to a 1-1 draw at Mount Salem.
The game between Granville City and North Gully Ambassador at Sam Sharpe was not played.
The competition continues this afternoon with six games.
The matches are Rosemount against Upsetters at Tucker, Defenders facing Marl Road at UDC field, Juniors against Westgreen at Albion, Champion playing Reggae Youths at Sam Sharpe, Little Miami against Copperwood at Westgreen and Seaview hosting MBBC at Seaview.
All games are scheduled to kick off at 3:30.
