The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) is expecting a successful Champs 100, the centenary celebration of the annual Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls’ Championships that begins at the National Stadium tomorrow morning at 8.15 a.m. and ends on Saturday.
ISSA president, Dr Walton Small, says the stage has been set for a good championship.
Dr Small further says a lot of emphasis has been placed on security and patron attending the National Stadium should be safe.
More than 2,000 athletes from 95 boys’ teams and 105 girls teams are down to compete at the prestigious meet.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to start soon at the National Stadium.
