Simon Katich hit his 10th Test century as Australia dominated day three of the second Test against hosts New Zealand in Hamilton.
Katich 106 combined in a stand of 155 with Michael Hussey 67 as the tourists, who lead the two-match series 1-0, reached 333 for four at stumps for a lead of exactly 300.
Australia had resumed their second innings on 35 without loss this morning.
Shane Watson also supported with 65.
Michael Clarke and Marcus North were unbeaten on 42 each at the end of the day.
Tim Southee and Brent Arnel have taken two wickets apiece.
Scores in the match so far, Australia 231 and 334 for four, New Zealand 264.
