Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago say water levels at the country\'s largest reservoir currently stands at 40 per cent.
The Water and Sewerage Authority has warned that at current consumption levels water will not last until the end of the dry season in June.
Officials say the situation is not being helped by recklessly high consumption levels.
The water and sewage authority says despite strict water restrictions on citizens, water levels continue to drop at an unprecedented rate in the nation\'s reservoirs.
