Johnson bowls Australia to win in New Zealand

Fast bowler Mitchell Johnson took 6 for 73 as Australia wrapped up a 2-0 series victory over hosts New Zealand by winning the second Test by 176 runs in Hamilton today.



Left-armer Johnson finished with match figures of 10 for 132 as the Kiwis set an unlikely victory target of 479 were bowled out for 302 on the final day. They had resumed on 185 for five.



Martin Guptill 58 Brendon McCullum 51 and Tim Southee 46 produced a show of defiance with the bat.



However, Johnson cleaned up Guptill, Brent Arnel and Southee in successive overs to end the game shortly before lunch.



Final Scores in the match Australia 231 and 511 for eight declared, New Zealand 264 and 302.
