LIME pumps $21m into JAAA’s junior programme

The Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (JAAA) and telecommunications firm LIME have entered into a three-year sponsorship package worth $21 million to assist the Junior Athletics Programme.
The sponsorship will cover the annual National Junior Championships, the annual CARIFTA Trials, support for the National Team participating in the Junior CAC Championships and support for the National Team going to the IAAF World Youth Championships and World Junior Championships.
In addition to the $21 million in cash, LIME will provide several services to the JAAA including Broadband for the offices and a PBX system to manage the JAAA incoming and outgoing calls and mobile phone services.
