There\'s a warning that a new round of rising fuel prices could force cruise lines to cut their Caribbean itineraries.
St Lucia\'s tourism minister Allan Chastanet says most cruiselines are anticipating that the price of a barrel of oil will reach US$100.
He says the cruiseliners may be forced to reduce the number of islands they go to in order to reduce their fuel costs.
Mr Chastanet is also worried that that cruise lines may consider dropping the Eastern Caribbean as a hub for their European traffic in the light of increases in air passenger taxes in Britain.
