Tiger Woods is climbing up the leaderboard in the opening round of the Masters after shooting a three-under 33 over the first nine holes on his return to competitive action today.
Woods made a 10-footer for eagle at Number eight, bouncing back from his lone bogey on the front side at Augusta National in the USA.
He followed that with a brilliant birdie, hitting a five-iron around the pine trees to set up a 12-foot putt that drew a roar from the crowd as he made the turn.
He is just two strokes behind clubhouse leaders Tom Watson, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood and Y.E. Yang.
