Volcanic ash affect UK flights

UK airline passengers are facing disruption as an ash cloud from an Icelandic volcanic eruption drifts towards the country.
Flights are currently banned from northern Scotland with the Aberdeen Airport warning of considerable impact.
The Air Traffic Control Service says the decision was made after advice from the Met Office as volcanic ash can damage aircraft engines.
Forecasters say the cloud of ash is expected to move south.
This eruption is the second in Iceland in less than a month.
