WI batsman to play for English county

Discarded West Indies batsman Wavell Hinds will play for English county Derbyshire this season after all.
The Jamaican has signed up as the club’s overseas player for its 20/20 campaign.
He had originally signed up for Derbyshire for the entire season.
However, the England and Wales Cricket Board blocked his registration due to the fact that he had participated in the unsanctioned Indian Cricket League.
The new deal means that Hinds will turn out for the county in the remaining 20/20 Cup matches, as well as the LV County Championship match against Essex starting on June 29.
