Defending champions St Elizabeth High Schools (STETHS) look set to win their fourth straight ISSA/Grace Headley Cup entering today’s last day of the three-day final at Alpart Sports Club in St Elizabeth.
Holmwood Technical, replying to STETHS’ first innings total of 213, were struggling on 126 for 9 after yesterday’s rain-ruined second day.
The Clarendon-based school, which began their reply yesterday, needs a further 87 runs with the last pair at the crease to win the crucial first innings points.
Medium pacer Damion Reid finished with good figures of 4 for 11 off 10 overs, with spinner Donavon Nelson supported well 3 for 46.
STETHS are searching for back-to-back double wins. They have already bagged the Grace Limited Over title.
