St Andrew, Alpha remain unbeaten

St Andrew Girls and Alpha Academy hold on to their perfect records after yesterday’s round of matches in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-16 competitions at Mona Hockey turf.



Alpha recorded the biggest victory of the day by whipping third place Immaculate 6-0 courtesy of four goals from Shanar White, while St Andrew Girls blanked last place Mona High 2-0.



Following the victories, both teams have now moved to nine points from three games to remain top of Group ‘A’.



In Group ‘B’ of the girls’ competition, Queen’s defeated Wolmer’s 4-0 to move to third place on three points, four behind leaders Papine High on seven points.



In the lone boys’ game, Kingston College picked up their first points following a 1-0 victory over Campion College in Zone ‘B’.



The competition continues this afternoon with defending boys’ champions Munro College hosting Excelsior at Munro College in St Elizabeth.
