Jamaica out of World Junior

Jamaicans Anthony McNee and Dennis Coke were last night knocked out of the BWF World Junior Badminton Championship in Mexico after losing in the second round of the men’s individual doubles event.
After receiving a first round bye, Coke and McNee lost to the seeded Indian pair of Sai Pranneet and Pranav Chopra 21-13, 21-15.
The Jamaicans had lost their singles match the previous day.
McNee had a first round loss to Canadian Nyl Yakura 21-12, 21-16 and Coke, after receiving a bye in the first round, went down to second seed Wei Sheng Loi of Malasia 21-10, 21-11 in round two.
The players along with coach Howard Ranger are booked to return home on Tuesday.
