IPL governing council selects interim chairman

The Indian Premier League\'s (IPL) governing council has appointed Chirayu Amin as the 20/20 league\'s interim chairman in place of suspended chief Lalit Modi, who is facing allegations of corruption.
Shashank Manohar, president of the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India, says Amin, who is the BCCI vice president will run the IPL while charges against Modi are investigated.
Modi was suspended late yesterday, soon after Chennai won the final against Mumbai and hours ahead of the council meeting.
