Newland, Meadows for Confederation Super League Final

Newland and Meadows have earned the right to contest the South Central Confederation Super League final following semi-final victories at Spanish Town Prison Oval yesterday.
Newland booked their spot after whipping neighbours Naggo Head 3-1 in the second semi-final,while Meadows scored an extra-time 1-0 victory over Tru-Juice to advance.
Dane Planter scored the all-important goal for Meadows from the penalty spot in the 101st minute.
Linton Lambert, Shannon Walker and Christopher Harris were on target for Newland, while Naggo Head’s lone goal came from Jerome Wedderburn.
The final will take place on Saturday at Spanish Town Prison Oval and will be preceded by the Under-20 final between Downs and Meadows.
