The US woman who has been charged for trying to take dozens of Haitian children into the Dominican Republic is to be tried in Haiti.
Laura Silsby and nine other missionaries were detained at the Haitian border with the Dominican Republic on kidnapping charges following the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12.
The other missionaries were subsequently released and allowed to return to the United States.
The attorney representing Ms. Silsby says her client will stand trial on the charge of arranging irregular travel.
