Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are scheduled to arrive in the country tonight in two groups from Germany following a 2-0 defeat to 2010 FIFA World Cup hosts South Africa in a friendly international at Kickers Offenbach Stadium last night.

The first group of players is set to arrive at the Sangsters International Airport in Montego Bay at 7.40 p.m. with the second group scheduled to touch down at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston at 8.35 p.m.

Veteran striker Surprise Moriri put South Africa ahead in the 51st minute and Siyabonga Nomvete added a second five mintues from full-time when he slammed the ball wide of goalkeeper Dwayne Kerr into the net.

The match was the fourth international between the teams with the three previous matches drawn and delivering only two goals.

The Jamaicans arrived in Germany via the United States just 10 hours before the kick-off with a squad including only one overseas-based player, San Jose Earthquakes striker Ryan Johnson.

South Africa also fielded a team of mostly home-based players.

The Reggae Boyz were a last-minute replacement for China, who were booked to face South Africa but pulled out.
