STETHS set 240 runs to win
Grace Headley Cup champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) set a victory target of 240 runs, were 23 without loss at Sports Time on today’s final day of the three-day all-island Spaulding Cup cricket final against Innswood High in Santa Cruz.
Earlier, Grace Shield champions Innswood High, leading by 61 runs on first innings, were bowled out for 179 in their second innings after resuming on 122 for six.
Bowling for STETHS, Right-arm leg spinner Donovan Nelson ended with five for 36 and match haul of 13 for 127.
Peat Salmon top scored for Innswood with 46, while Terrence Brown chipped in with 36.
STETHS are the reigning Spaulding Cup champions.
Scores in the match so far are Innswood 285 and 179, STETHS 224 and 23 without loss at Sports Time.
