The national security minister in St. Kitts and Nevis Sam Condor has promised joint security operations along with the planned mobile patrols in an effort to reduce crime in the country.
He says police officers will have heightened visibility in a number of communities as part of the ongoing crime fighting strategies.
Police say 14 people have been killed in the country since January.
The government says it wants to engage in a proactive and preventative approach to the crime plan.
