JHA postpones playoffs

The Jamaica Hockey Association (JHA) has postponed this afternoon’s third place playoffs in the boys’ and girls’ Under-16 competitions because of two-day strike action by members of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association.
The third place playoffs have been rescheduled to Monday, May 10, while the final will not take place on Wednesday, May 12.
Papine High are in both playoffs.
In the girls’ third place playoff they will face off with Excelsior and then take on Tivoli Gardens in the boys’ third place playoff. Both games will be played at the Mona Hockey turf.
The finals will also take place at the Mona Hockey turf with defending girls champions St Andrew High playing Alpha Academy and reigning boys’ champions Munro College tackling Mona High.
