Antigua calls for overhauling outdated labour laws

The government-aligned Antigua Workers Union has called for the overhauling of the country\'s 50-year old Workmen Compensation Act.



The union\'s General Secretary, Senator David Massiah, made the appeal at Monday\'s observance of International Labour Day.



Labour Minister Errol Cort has promised that the matter and other workers’ concerns would receive Government attention.
