Digicel Premier League resumes today
The Digicel National Premier League resumes tomorrow afternoon following a short break and again the focus will be on tournament leaders Harbour View and defending champions Tivoli Gardens.
With three matches remaining in the season, Harbour View lead the table with 70 points, four ahead of second place Tivoli Gardens on 66. The top two teams are well ahead of third place Waterhouse on 53 points.
Harbour View, who are firmly fancied to dethrone Tivoli Gardens, will host the inconsistent Boys’ Town at Harbour View Mini Stadium at 5 p.m. while Tivoli Gardens will play away to fourth place St Georges at Lynch Park in Portland at 6:30.
In the other match in the elite group, Waterhouse will host sixth place Village United at Drewsland Stadium at 6 p.m.
In the relegation group, seventh place Portmore United play way to 10th place Arnett Gardens at Anthony Spaulding Complex at 6 p.m. eighth place Humble Lions host second-from-the-bottom Sporting Central Academy at Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon at 5 p.m. and ninth place Rivoli United and bottom place August Town face off at Spanish Town Prison Oval at 6 p.m.
