Jamalco beat Tivoli

Reigning champions JAMALCO beat Tivoli ‘A’ 39-37 in a close encounter at the Leila Robinson Courts last night to take sole leadership of the Jamaica Netball Association/Berger Paints Super League.



Both teams were locked on 24 points each going into the encounter.



Former national player Elaine Davis led Jamalco with 30 goals from 41 attempts and Marsha Murphy got nine from 13.



For Tivoli Gardens, former national player Kasey Evering had 15 from 25 attempts, Cleopatra Grant 11 from 15, Jodiann Ffrench six from 10 and Nekeisha Cohen five from seven.



In the Supreme Ventures ‘A’ League, Ravens defeated Hampshire ‘A’ 45-23. The game between Speg ‘A’ and Ebony Strikers ‘A’ was not played.
