West Indies ‘A’ beat South Africa ‘A’ by 11 runs

West Indies ‘A’ defeated South Africa ‘A’ by 11 runs in their opening match of the Tri-Nation Limited tournament at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh this morning.
Batting first West Indies were bowled out for 224 off 49.3overs. However, Shane Shillingford and Nelon Pascal shared seven wickets to dismiss South Africa for 213 off 47.5 overs.
Shillingford ended with four for 22, while Pascal had three for 43. Lionel Baker supported with two for 50.
Morne Van Wyk 51 and Ryan Bailey 35 scored most runs for the South Africans.
Kirk Edwards top scored for West Indies ‘A’ with 49. Travis Dowlin and Devon Smith 39 each and Chadwick Walton 31 supported well.
