Naggo Head remain out front

Reigning champions Naggo Head Primary continue to lead the overall points’ standing on day three of the four-day INSPORTS/Swizzle Primary Schools Athletics Championship at the National Stadium.



After four finals, Naggo Head have surged to an overall lead of 25, three ahead of St Benedict on 22, followed by Spanish Town 16, St Patrick 15 and New Providence 10.



In the individual sections, Naggo Head lead the girls with 16 points, two ahead of Spanish Town on 14, while St Benedict are ahead in the boys’ race with 13 points, four ahead of Bridgeport and Naggo Head on nine points each.



One record was broken on today’s third day. Gerado James of Naggo Head and Lushane Wilson of Angels cleared 1.55 metres for a new record in the Boys High Jump Open.



James was given the victory.
