The Vatican\'s foreign minister is heading for Cuba next month.
A spokesman for Havana\'s Conference of Bishops says Roman Catholic Archbishop Dominique Mamberti will lead discussions on the island\'s economic challenges and the effects of emigration and the families torn apart by it.
The spokesman said church leaders will also focus on the necessity for dialogue and reconciliation among Cubans in their discussions during Catholic Social Week from June 12 to 20.
Archbishop Mamberti will be the first top Vatican official to visit Cuba since Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State to Pope Benedict XVI, visited the island in February 2008.
