There’s more political tension brewing in Trinidad and Tobago.

It’s reported that that opposition United National Congress has been refused the use of the facilities of the country\'s national library to launch its manifesto for the May 24 elections.

The UNC says it had booked the facilities for today, but that request was turned down at the last minute by Nalis, the body responsible for the National Library.

This comes two days after UNC leader, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, angered officials of the ruling party by tearing up the Peoples National Movement’s manifesto at a public meeting.
