Thailand's opposition leader dies

Thailand’s main Opposition leader has died four days he was wounded by a sniper\'s bullet.



Major General Khattiya Sawasdipol died in hospital yesterday.



At least 35 others have died in the bitter standoff between anti-government protesters and troops since Thursday.



Eleven of those deaths have occurred in sporadic fighting throughout yesterday and overnight.
