St. Lucia private sector seeks OECS markets
St Lucia is seeking to improve its trading relationship with member countries of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States by participating in a six-day trade mission to St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.
Executive Secretary of the St Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture, Brian Louisy, says the mission will provide the opportunity for participating firms to showcase their services and products.
The expectation is that they will establish strong business links with the business communities in the two countries, which is necessary for expanding and consolidating business relationships with those potential clients.
The mission is being funded by the European Union through its Competitiveness through Linkages Project, and the Economic Diversification and Private Sector Development Programme.
