Richard Mitchell slaps with four-day suspension

Jockey Richard Mitchell has been suspended by the stewards for four race days for careless riding aboard Prince of Arabia in the ninth race at Caymanas Park on Wednesday, April 14.
Mitchell was penalised for the interference caused to Unsung Hero approaching the 700-metre point of the course.
In addition to the suspension, Mitchell was slapped with a $4,000 fine.
His suspension takes effect tomorrow.
In other disciplinary actions by the stewards of the Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC), three apprentice riders were also suspended.
Jevvanne Erwin was suspended for one race day, while Chalrick Budhai and Robert Halledeen were both slapped with two-day suspensions.
