Guyanese diplomat dies

The Guyanese government has been paying tribute to its honorary consul to Barbados, Norman Faria.



Mr Faria, who served for 16 years, died in hospital in Bridgetown following a brief illness.



Faria who was a freelance journalist, served as Guyana\'s Honorary Consul for a period of 16 years during which he valiantly represented the interests of Guyanese in Barbados.
