Bermuda's Premier, Ewart Brown, has reported a seven percent drop in visitor arrivals for the first quarter of this year.
Air arrivals dropped by 10 percent in the three-month period, totaling 28,865 people compared with the 32,235 who flew to Bermuda during the corresponding period in 2009.
The government has blamed the decline on severe winter storms in the US, one of its major markets.
Forty-five cancellations were reportedly caused by those storms.
Mr Brown, who is also the Tourism Minister, says while the island experienced a decline in visitors during the first quarter, tourist expenditure remained constant.
