Jamalco, Tivoli ‘A’ to face off in final

Reigning champions JAMALCO and Tivoli ‘A’ have earned the right to contest the Berger Paints Super League ‘Best of Three’ finals, which start tomorrow at the Leila Robinson Courts.



The teams advanced to the finals following semi-final victories last night at the Leila Robinson Courts.



Tivoli ‘A’, the Open League winner, defeated last year’s beaten finalist Waulgrovians ‘A’ 44-36. Kasey Evering led Tivoli ‘A’ with a game-high 24 goals from 37 attempts. She was supported by Cleopatra Grant with 12 from 15, Jodi Ffrench 5 from 9 and Nickiesha Cohen 3 from 3.



For Waulgrovians ‘A’ Janielle Fowler had 15 from 17, Simone Forbes 11 from 12 and Christina Solmon 10 from 12.



In the other semi-final game, JAMALCO secured a 54-46 victory over Windalco.



Marsha Murphy scored a game high 35 from 39 attempts to lead JAMALCO to victory. Elaine Davis ended with 17 from 22 and Naudia Brown had two from four.



For Windalco, Anna Kay Griffiths had 24 from 30 and Deneen Taylor scored 10 from 17 attempts.
