Antigua PM thanks Manning

Antigua’s Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer has sent a letter to former Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister, Patrick Manning, thanking him for his contribution to the region.
Patrick Manning who also served as Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) lost the general election in Trinidad last month.
Mr Spencer says Mr Manning served the CARICOM with distinction for several terms.
He also said Mr Manning had planned to intensify his thrust to deepen regional understanding and integration within the Caribbean.
The leader of the United National Congress Kamla Persad Bissessar is the new Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
