Britain\'s Sunday newspapers showed no sympathy for England goalkeeper Robert Green after his blunder allowed the United States to equalise in their group ‘C’ encounter which ended 1-1 on Saturday.

The News of the World, Sunday Mirror and Independent all used the headline, \"Hand of Clod\" with the Sunday Mirror adding, \"Tainted Glove\" and the News of the World using, \"Stars and Tripe\".

\"Green Fingers,\" read the Sunday Times, while the Mail on Sunday simply lead with, \"Calamity\".

\"Capello to axe clown Green,\" said the Sunday Express, with the Observer using the headline, \"Green slips and England stagger\".

While, FIFA has asked security officials at Ellis Park stadium to investigate after a supporter shone a laser pen towards the pitch during Saturday\'s match between Argentina and Nigeria.

A green beam could be seen pointing at various players - and in the direction of Argentina coach Diego Maradona.

FIFA said in a statement that they noticed the incident once and immediately asked the stadium security to look into the matter.

Also, Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque is confident Andres Iniesta will be fit enough to start against Switzerland in their World Cup opener on Wednesday.

Barcelona midfielder Iniesta suffered a thigh injury during a 6-0 friendly win over Poland and has been training away from his team-mates as he looks to recover in time. Del Bosque said Iniesta will play and he will be in the starting line-up.
